I just wanted to take a moment to give thanks and to hear what you are thankful for.
1. I am thankful for all the men and women who are far from home today in the service of our great country. My thoughts are with them and particularly all the soldiers I personally know who are in Iraq and Afghanistan.
2. I am thankful that I am home with my family this year.
4. I am thankful for all my friends who have returned safely from Iraq and Afghanistan and morn for those I know who gave their all to provide a better life for others.
5. I am thankful that I live in a country where I can choose to practice religion (or not) the way I see fit without fear.
6. I am thankful for the roof over my head and the bounty of food on my table. Many in the world and here at home do not have these benefits.
7. I am thankful that my family is all here for Thanksgiving except my nephew who at sea with the Navy.
8. I am thankful that I live in a state with plenty of good diving close by allowing me to work off that turkey tomorrow by diving all afternoon.
