Before I put this up in the trips and marketplace I just wanted to see if there was any interest in checking out Navarre Pier this weekend (Sept. 20-21) if things look like they have settled by then.

I have 4 (including myself) that are interested, but it will probably be night dives for us. I'm also not sure how close I can get to a specific time, as there are scheduling issues that have not yet settled.

Walter, count me in...I am also good for a night dive if you want to do that. Let me know, got a second strobe for my camera that I am anxious to try out!

Cool, lets keep an eye out for the weather and sea state. Hopefully things will have a chance to settle. It looks like we would be diving at low tide or at the beginning of an incoming tide. The pictures that mrxray took a little bit ago was at low tide and things looked great, so maybe we will luck out. Here is the tide predictions for the weekend:

Sa 20 Low 11:21 AM 0.2 6:35 AM Set 12:17 PM 75
20 6:46 PM Rise 10:27 PM

Su 21 High 1:03 AM 2.1 6:36 AM Set 1:23 PM 65
21 Low 1:01 PM 0.0 6:45 PM Rise 11:28 PM

I'd like to go. Day or night. Will 98 be open????

I was thinking more of a morning to mid-day dive. Ihave not heard that 98 was closed. You can always take interstate 10 (towards Tallahassee) down to the Navarre beach exit (I think exit 37???).

I was looking at the webcams and the water was completely flat right now (sept 16/ 1:58 pm) If things stay like this things will be great for a dive this weekend. I may go out there tommorow.

Great. Count me in for this weekend. Any day, anytime.
