Actually, if you can read German, they give you a current report regarding the water conditions. Currently something about the water being silted up just recently by a bunch of careless divers, but they were doing maintenance to take care of that.

It does sound bad, doesn't it? But that's about normal for some of the fresh water sites in Holland, too. If you're accustomed to "bad" viz, your first Red Sea dive is almost sensory overload!
