Unlike sharks Lionfish (at least in the Atlantic) deserve death. Took my first spine, in my index finger, 3 1/2 hours ago.Maybe a NatGeo "Lionfish Week"? Their Shark Week shows portraying sharks as voracious man-eaters continue to desensitize the world against shark killing.
