Tequilla with lionfish fin tips in the bottle.

Maybe a NatGeo "Lionfish Week"? Their Shark Week shows portraying sharks as voracious man-eaters continue to desensitize the world against shark killing.

Ok...off my soapbox now :)

Unlike sharks Lionfish (at least in the Atlantic) deserve death. Took my first spine, in my index finger, 3 1/2 hours ago.

Incredibly painful, I think I am over the hump though, swelling and pain up into wrist and elbow has subsided. Just the index and middke finger and associated knuckles throbbing. I am going to give it 2 more hours and then I am going up to Shaka's for a beer.

Cute, but the REAL rumor to start is that ONLY Lionfish from the Atlantic are aphrodisiacs....those from the Pacific are poisonous.
Are Carribean lionfish found outside the Atlantic?
