Can someone identify this shark its a bad pic

The point of the dorsal fin is obscured in the photo.
The caudal fin is almost completely obscured.
The pectoral fins are halfway obscured.
There is no information on how much it weighed or where it was caught.

On the little information present. We can definitely say its a Requiem shark.

Based on the thickness, shape of head, and size of eye; my best guess is that you have a Carcharhinus leucas.
 
from the look of the first dorsal and the glimpse of the secone I would agree with leaning towards Carcharhinus leucus
 
It is a Thresher Shark....absolutely....Thresher Shark. Was this picture taken in the Philippines?
 
the shark is named fluffy--he escaped from my tank a couple days ago. thanks for finding him! :)
