Merry Christmas and all the best for the new year.

First time to get a companion, so I'd bewildered about what to call her!

Don't want a girl-ish name, yet not vicious either, she arrives in 10 days.

She's beautiful and deserves an elegant name. Let me think on it...

Do you like actual names like Brandi, Sasha, Nikki, Tara? Or something more exotic?

If it were a male I may go with the name "Ozzy" because the ears of a doberman sticking up remind me of the signature Black Sabbath salute.

Don't know if you'd want to call a female "Ozzy" though and the idea might be out-dated.

I guess if you wanted to call her something modern that gives a wink to pop culture, would work as a dog's name and would remain recognizable for as long as she's likely to live then I might consider calling her "Twerk".

I was thinking about:

Hero (Greek goddess)
Ruby
Venus
Mocha

So, exotic and/or mythical are my favs

And no, I won't have her ears cut, enough with her tail

Twerk goes with a similar-rhymed word in Arabic which means "idiot" :)
So, no.
