BigboyDan:
Well, you can get well trained by a DIRF instructor, of course. And GUE offers their courses across the country at certain places and times of the year - but, you'll be getting their specific courses. I'd rather be wreck, deep, night, rescue, mixed-air, etc. trained by an agency that will be recognised by some shop or DM when outside of Central Florida... if I wanted to be fresh water cave trained I would take GUE. Good training, though, is where you find it...
GUE is recognized outside of Central Florida...Geee...even us Canucks have heard of them.

BigboyDan:
I never troll. ...<snip> ask GUE.

No...I'm asking you...You are the one making claims...So its for you to provide proof

JeffG,

Call... GUE...and...ask...anyone...who...answers...the... phone, "Does any dive training agency other than GUE teach DIR?" See...what... they... say...

Hey, I like Alberta... it's a lot like Texas...

For which conversation...The Big and Bigger or the DIR one?

Boys, big is good. Gentlemen are better!

Everyone calls me the blond, but I need you both to focus...My question is about gear. You both seem to be argueing the same point, that DIR is good. How about some argueing about my gear proposal?

Well, truthfully...

The DIR one.
