The title should just about sum it up. As this is my first drysuit, I wanted something tough, but this 20 pound suit feels more like cardboard then cordura. I am hoping it relaxes when wet. Anyone have any experience with this drysuit or cordura suits in general that can tell me if I should expect it to soften up?

Thanx!

Well who sold you cardboard?? :D

It will loosen up dont worry...give it about 6-10 dives to fully break in, after the first dive alone, it will feel alot better

Have fun in class on Monday and Diving over the weekend...Cant wait to welcome you to the world of the Drysuit

I did get a great deal on this suit. I know I PAID a cardboard price, but didn't expect a cardboard suit!

Maybe I'll go sit in the jacuzzi with it on. In fact I'll think I'll have a beer while I'm at it....maybe we'll both relax some. :rofl3:

I am sure it will be fine..I can't wait to dive it!
