Just goes to show ya, if you hang on to stuff long enough it comes back into style again.
Last year I slapped together a set of little doubles made from spare parts & a pair of SCBA tanks, about 50 cu ft each. I used a twin post manifold w/no isolator. You can find those pretty cheap as most folks have switched over to isolation manifolds. (You just treat them like a single with an H-valve).
The balance is the really sweet part about stubby twins, almost like diving nekkid.
