I was told by a few people in PG that the snaerok are using PG to launder money and are buying everything up, including the girlie bars. This somewhat changes the balance of power in local politics.

Perhaps if these snaerok were told that the value of their investment is dependent on diving and thus ultimately on the quality of the reef they may do something about the damage done by certain divers.
If they were told that sinking a good artificial wreck and promoting a world record mass dive would enhance the value of their investments then these things may happen.
