Hi everyone,

Last september I went to Truk Lagoon (It was my 3rd time there). It was an amazing trip!!!
I did my first with a double hose regulator...I dove with a Phoenix HPR RAM...I used it in the right side of my double.... 200 ft in Nagano Maru. The regulator is fantastic! Breathing was easy at 200 ft. I'm putting some pictures.
Asap I edit the video, I'll put the link here.

You can get more informations about my first trip to Truk (2008) and the wrecks: Truk Lagoon Expedition.

I would love to see the replies if you posted that in the advanced or tech diving section.

adairrj,

'Glad you are enjoying the double hose. Since you have it mounted asymmetrically on your doubles, try diving it with your right shoulder slightly down, such as in the 5th photo from the top above. What you do is place the regulator on a horizontal plane in line with the center of your lungs, which removes the "head" of water pressure from the work of breathing. Diving double hose regulators really is a pleasure. I really enjoyed your photos.

I think someone else said the same thing on VDH but I can't believe this was the first double hose dive you've done. After all, you have the largest double hose collection on the planet! Looks like a fun trip. / What did people say?

I hope this means you're going to continue diving DH regs. :)
