I like those, and I bet you can print them HUGE!!!

From everything I've seen the D2x is about the best 35mm type DSLR going...

You're lucky to have such equipment available.

to much OOF space that will distract the viewer, crop it in tight.. IMO the real advantage of big mpix

No criticism intended.

Ron, thanks, the picture does look better when cropped as you did. Yes, there are plenty of room to crop on D2X and that helps a bit. Now, if you want to see D2X with cropping action, well, this is not a good picture but it is all I have right now. I had the 12-24mm lens on, hoping to see whaleshark and my divebuddy found this instead. Never let an opportunity passed especially after I have been trying to find one of these for over a year....
I guess this is a real wide angle macro shot :) with lots of cropping. Taken at 24mm with the shrimp almost right on the domeport:

You shouldn't do this to people :frown:

I want a D2x too. The question is:

Shall I sell my house? (if it was only my decision the answer might be yes! :11: )

I had 7 dives over the weekend down south of Thailand around Koh Tao and Chumporn in the Gulf of Thailand. Did not see anything too spectacular but it was a nice little practice before my big trip next month.

nice shots, how about helping the rest of us along by putting the settings on there as well?
