Long time ago I was in the biking scene pretty heavy where there was a fued between the "road bikers" who had stuffy shirts and could do no wrong and the "mountain bikers" that just let it all hang out and have fun. Biking was fun until the roady's started to cross over and make everything so competive.

I see there is a similar fued in the diving community. I think diving is more about fun and discovery of a new and different world rather then talking about DIR and blah blah blah..

This board gets tiring to read. Im new here and already tired of it. Been trying to stick around and play the game here, help out every now and then and even get some good advise. But, Its no wonder why I know more divers that have logged on and posted a couple times then I do divers that are active members.

Oh, I do hope you stick around ... every time I see you post, images of Kenting pop into my brain.

I really do have to get back over there and check out the diving ... :D

Don't let the DIR versus non-DIR stuff get to you. I've even been diving with some DIR types that were normal human beings, like the guys Bob dives with.

Although, I think they've been sneaking cool-aid into his after dive snacks.

One thing I've learned is divers are very oppinionated people on everything to do with diving. Whether it's gear or technique, makes no difference.

It's all about what works best for you and keeps you safe.

Well, that's YOUR opinion.
