My computer can't read a card with pics

I've seen this myself. Usually an indication that the card is failing.

Get a new one, quick!

Oops, it is SDXC cards I was referring to. If you're using Win XP, it requires a special extension to the OS to read these cards. See this link:

My computer stopped reading SD cards, and I had to use an external SD-to-USB interface. It was not the cards, it was the reader. I reinstalled the driver for the card reader, now no problem.
