A common reaction. I can attest to that. What was she diving before the tp?

Before we bought the Transpac we had been on a yearlong search for a BC, and had been renting from LDS's. She was getting discouraged with the selection we were finding. The dive master on a dive with Subtropic in Key West was a nice lady with a build very simialr to my wife's. We asked about her choice of BC, and she showed us her Transpac, and helped the staff fit her in one. It was love at first dive.

As pointed out, they aren't the cheapest way to go, but are well worth the price. It is important to get help in fitting and setup since the joy of these BC's is that they are extremely adjustable for fit.

And the best part - After 2 years of BC envy I got one for Christmas last year!
