You ever heard the story of mister faded glory?
Say he who rides the pony must someday fall.
Talking to my alter, life is what you make it.
And if you make it death, well rest your soul away.

Crown of Thorns, it's about time you guys got outta the old stuff,

You have to admit it's a classic, especially the version with the Chloe Dancer intro.
Even better is the Andrew Wood tribute album, Temple of the Dog...
...and without that maybe no Pearl Jam...
...and without them where would grunge be today...
...hey wait a minute, maybe you're right, maybe it is a little outdated. :D

Anyway, you're up...
Point it in any direction you like.

Cheers

try this one out:

Well a proud daddy only wanna give his little girl the best
So he put down a grand on a coze little lovers nest
You could have called the reception an unqualified success
Had a flash hotel for 150 guests

but since we're breaking away from these old guys generation that'll do (didn't Dion do it first?)

You're up Kosh...

Seems like I read somewhere that Huey Lewis and the News does a cover of that as well on stage.

I’ll stay in that vein. Name the artist and a band that did a cover of this song:

Clock strikes twelve and moondrops burst
Out at you from their hiding place
Like acid and oil on a madman's face
His reason tends to fly away
Like lesser birds on the four winds
Like silver scrapes in May
And now the sand's become a crust
Most of you have gone away

Metallica did a cover on their album of all covers.
Turn the page had some good airplay.

How about the original group? I'm sure you know that one too XJae. Turn the page got too much airplay IMO.

Take it away.

I'm trying to think of something new but it's making me feel old.
I've been looking forward to an album that's coming out next week.
This is from the same artist.

Clouds, one by one, fill the sky
Just like these tears that fill my eyes
I know by now she ain't comin' back
I watch my world slowly fade into black
