Here are pics of the XL Jet Fins. These are the old ones, made in USA. Or maybe it was the 13 colonies back then. Note these are the "lightning" version with a different (better) rubber compound than the earlier ones without the lightning bolt.

Obviously the measurement is a little weird because of the shape and flexibility but the foot pocket opening is roughly 3" tall by 4.25" wide. Maybe a little wider. If anyone is going to measure their boot with calipers these fins could definitely accommodate a boot a little bigger than those dimensions accounting for flex.

Wow look at you two and your fancy calipers! You put me to shame!

Both our calipers are the cheap crappy knockoffs. They're surprisingly good for the price, and a really useful $20 investment if you do any kind of DIY. Get a set with the auto-off function because they have a habit of turning themselves on and draining batteries. It's one of the only cheap crap overseas tools I'd advocate buying.

How did you make your “custom” organs strap? And I assume there isn’t much give like a spring. The rope is the exact size for your boot?
They are bungee, I posted about them a while back, do a site search for jet fins and bungee. I’ll see if I can find it and edit a link here.
