I dove Mt Storm Lake yesterday and the air temperature was 64 F and cloudy while the water temperatures were 87 F down to 25' with a low of 82 F at 89'. Viz was only about 10'.

Anyone going Oct 8 or 9?
Looking to replace a blown out NC trip.

Dave

I did 2 dives at Mt Storm lake in WV Monday, 9 Oct.
Water was 78 - 80 degrees.
Vis 10' down to 20', 5' at 50', 12" at 90', 0" at 94'.
Max depth 94', average depth 50', over 1 hour each.

Thanks Quaack but I am interested in more recent temps (end of Oct. to now).

anybody diving there on Saturday (11/11)? I will be at deep creek and will easily travel to mount storm and do some diving. Need a gas fill though.

Chris

When are you going up?
I could make the trip.
Look's like rain in the afternoon, tho.
Got to get air before you go, none in the area.

Got air. I'm good to go. I can meet you any time. Not sure how long it will take to get there, but I can't imagine it's more than 45mins or so from deep creek. Just leave me a message and I will be there.

Chris
