Mt. Lewotobi on Flores, Indonesia (Komodo) erupted 3x in less than 1 month. twice today (7/7/2025) continue with LOB plan in a few weeks or postpone ? … unsure what to do… 30 hours of travel without any disruptions in optimal conditions.

A few weeks is a long time, most of the volcano disruptions only last a few days.

I would go.

Sadly volcano eruptions are a frequent occurrence in Indonesia. Certainly no guarantee that this trip will go well , but if you delay because of this series of eruptions you may very well run into new eruptions from this or some other volcano at some later trip date.

While I recognize many people are up against vacation leave limitations (only so many days off from work) , potential travel delays are the reason it is best to build some land-based days ahead of liveaboards if at all possible

Talk to the operator, they probably have a good idea of how it might impact them, if at all (they're probably running boats there now). If they think they can operate close to normal, I don't see any reason not to go. Hopefully you have travel insurance.

You might also want to check on which LOB you are booked to mitigate any surprises
