Moving to the Seattle area the end of Aug.

It looks like the family and I will be moving to the Seattle area around the end of Aug. I am taking a job with a company and taking over sales in the area. We are looking at the towns of Monroe, Snohomish and Arlington. What do you guys know of these areas? Are there some other towns we should consider? We would like to find a small town North of Seattle with good schools and not to expensive about an hour from the ocean. We will be heading up to the area on Monday to take a look at some towns so any that you might suggest would be great.
