I'm moving from Hawaii to Norfolk and was wondering if anyone could recommend a dive shop for TDI courses and a dry suit course in the area? What about shore diving, is there much within an hour drive or any websites that show where to go? I'm also going to be looking for an inexpensive rental near the Naval Station that is preferably in a decent area to live in for the next couple years.

Lynnhaven Dive Center has TDI courses.

For shore diving, you can walk into the water pretty much anywhere not at a military base or obstructing water traffic. The nearest shore dive wrecks are off Nags Head.
