My wife got this movie from the library. I found it interesting. There is a little of everthing from misplaced residents to preperation film of the tree cutting to dive footage. Did you know that the resivior is only 60 years old? Wow.

HUH! No I did NOT know..............Actually, to dive Quabbin, was one of the reasons why I got cert'd. It wasnt until my open water cert's that I was informed that I could/would not dive there.

Would you be willing to share the title/tracking # for the video of the Quabbin Footage? Thanks much...

My brother-in-law has it right now. When I get it back I'll get more info if you need. Were you planning on getting it through the library? Here is the info I got from our library system.

Under Quabbin [videorecording] : the search for the lost towns / produced by Ed Klekowski, Libby Klekowski, Jonathan Williams and Michael Volmar.
Published Springfield, Mass. : WGBY, a division of the WGBH Educational Foundation, 2001

under quabbin shows up on the wgby.org site for $19.95... was broadcast a few times, permanatly kills all the urban legands of flooded intact buildings and the church steeple sticking above the water... what was there was foundations, paved roads, stone walls, creekside dumps and plenty of soft lead pipe at a golf course, just begging to be recast as musket balls....
what a dive site if legal... the other would love to dive site is lac du st. sacrement {lake george}
more later...
