Welcome to Portland and the PNW. I went to college south of those Dry cities!
You can also dive some of the mountain lakes, Timothy on Mt Hood or Clear Lake on Santiam Pass, it's wonderful! Just adjust your tables for high altitude diving and get a dry suit! Joining the Oregon Club is also a great idea!
