I gotta put in another vote for the comfobite!

Comfobite.

Zoomer,
I'll be honest here - I work for SeaCure Custom Mouthpiece. But I have to tell you that SeaCure is the best! We constantly hear from happy customers who tell us how much they love diving with a SeaCure. It almost totally eliminates jaw fatigue. You don't have to clench your teeth at all! The mouthpiece was designed by an orthodontist, Dr. Randall Moles, who specialized in jaw problems for years - so he really knows what works concerning the jaw. Check out our website (seacure1.com) for more info and testimonials. Or better yet, just try one. You'll love it too!

I have used and liked both the Sea Cure and the Comfobite. I have, however, switched to sololy a Comfobite for one reason. I have a REALLY big mouth. My jaw line is wider than most. When I realized my wife could not easily use a reg with a Sea Cure fitted for me I stopped using them. Understanding that she, or anyone else requiring air sharing should not go for my primary, let's face it, that's what's gonna happen more often than not.

I just ordered another 2 sets of regs (not Aqualung/Apeks) and requested the shop throw in Comfobites for them.

Now if I could only explain to my wife why I need 5 sets of regs....

I'm not crazy about the mouthpieces with a "tray" that extends all the way to the molars. I find I usually need to clamp down pretty hard on them, and it extends out a bit too much to be comfortable on a bungeed backup.

I LOVE the Comfo-bite though (I think it's an Aqualung product, though I've also seen knockoffs at the LDS). The extra "bridge" helps by sandwiching around your teeth, making it so you don't need to bite down at all to keep it in place. My primary reg came with a comfo-bite, and after a few dives, I just had to swap out the long-tray mouthpiece on my backup to match.

I use a comfo-bite mouthpiece.

Comfo-Bite users of the world, UNITE! Muahaha!

Okay, so I like mine. Of course, I've never bought one, as my regs all came with them.

ditto the Comfobite!!! Love love love them. So does my daughter who had braces when she got certified so it was the only mouthpiece that didn't make her teeth hurt.

:D

Ditto the ComfoBite.

I gotta put in another vote for the comfobite!

Comfobite.

You're all ****ing wierd :11:

I had Comfobites on my Apeks regs when I bought them and I couldn't get used to them, so I changed them for standard mouthpieces.

What is comfortable for some may not be for another.

I have a seacure also, it great. my wife has a problem with the reg pulling and stranging her jaw even with a seacure. the fix was an miflex 36 inch holes. the reg does not pull anymore. And with the seacure, she does not even have to bite, it stays put without any effort.
