I LOVE my SeaCure.

I used to have a bit of jaw ache and my reg would sometimes slid around when I turned. With the SeaCure, I forget that I have a reg in my mouth.

I just got back from an 1:10 dive without any slipping, sliding or jaw tension.

SeaCure has my vote also. I only wish I had bought one sooner than I did. I never ever get jaw fatigue and I've had 1:15 to 1:20 minute dives plenty of times. That along with a swivel for my regulator has been great.

I am using an oceanic Delta 4 second stage with the FDX-10 first stage. I found I had to bite down at times (specially when turning my head) so that I wouldn't loose the mouth piece. I have also switched the position of the primary and secondary on the first stage to alleviate some of the pressure the hose created from the bend it makes coming around. I have also thought about turning the tank a little when mounting it to the BCD to widen the arc as well.

Just a thought: If possible try raising the tank a few inches in the BCD the next time you dive. One very common cause of regulator "pulling" is a tank that is riding a little too low.... you may have already tried this and/or it may not be the problem in your case, but it is a "simple fix" if it is the problem.

Good luck!

Try a seacure mouthpiece! It's the best upgrade I've ever made! it solved all of those problems for me... It stays in your mouth without an effort...

Another vote for seacure. Once you get it molded right, there's no more pressure than you would normally have with your mouth closed.

Another vote for Seacure.

My only issue has been while either demonstrating OOA diver scenarios with Open Water students or doing Buddy Breathing with Divemaster students. The Seacure is definitely a unique fit and anyone else will be quite uncomfortable with my mouthpiece. I just switch over to my octo and put my primary in the octo holder for those exercises.

Ditto the ComfoBite.

How many have changed out their mouth piece on their regulator? Which one did you choose and why? Did it help reduce jaw fatigue?

I noticed during this last weekend of diving I would have to hold my regulator in my mouth for a few minutes to give my jaw a rest and I am thinking about a new mouth piece to help eliminate this issue. Any and all suggestions welcome.

Thanks
