I have a transpac + Rec wing.
Just bought a used set of manifolded 2x12l steel tanks.
With other twins I have used the 'twin fitting' kit (ie the plates) to fit to transpac because the bands dip in between the tanks behind the divers spine.
On this set the bands have an extra bar across the back which means the plates wont fit. In fact that additional bar curves slightly out towards the divers spine.
Are the bands required? Do I need them if this bar is in place? How should I mount the transpac. I was thinking of just using stainless bolts and wingnuts through the eyelets in the harness?
I am attaching a picture of the twins so you can see what I mean.
Thanks
