Benefits of registering include
Teflon is used to seal threads together to stop or prevent fluids and air under low pressure. 'Seal' meaning fill the gaps. Also it is used so that the parts can be seperated again. It is not specific to making connections 'easier' to join. In fact it would likely tighten the joint.Um, teflon tape is used to make it EASIER to thread things together, such as pipe fittings, etc. By extension it would make things easier to COME APART too.
