I am finding this very interesting. I am considering a GoPro 4 silver with a single or no light. I want easy, light weight and controllable budget. I have used a sealife DC1000 with strobe for years and may move to video soon. I dove with a guy who swore by polarpro...but above they are noted as mediocre. Anyone use the Backscatter flip filter combos? They have a good looking rig with filter and light - here is my dumb questions - do you pull the filter when the light is on? seems like one or the other may get it done? I have never shot vid above or below water - so this is all foreign to me.

I haven't used my new lights just yet so couldn't tell you, but I hear that you should pull it off
