When are they planning on being open?
Perhaps as soon as next month. Everything is in place but the bureaucratic red tape. A few more dozen forms to be filled out and approved by our govt before operation can begin. Most definitely by Spring.
Top-notch rental gear, good compressor, great people. I will be sure to make announcement when all is go. I also plan to be one of the first groups to visit since it is all unspoiled and the first year will not just be one of discovery but also of getting to name the dive sites!
One of the few warm-water destinations that I am still interested in.

what's the latest on your buddies dive operation in Montserrat?theskull:

Down to waiting on some committee to approve some form and buying a boat. Now expects to be full-time resident in July and ready for diving customers in Aug or Sept. Will post an announcement when all is ready.

Congrats and good luck! How did you manage to get up and running so quick ? From the other posts, the other new shop has been in the process of getting clearance and setting up longer and is still not ready ? Where did you work before ?jimmyboy:
