Hey guys, I just came back from diving with the threshers in Malapascua Island. Absolutely incredible, they came so close that I could have kissed them if I had extended my lips!

Just wanted to share some photos and also a video I made from my trip (youtube link below). It was my first trip after getting video lights (for macros, video lights not allowed for threshers), defo lots of room for improvements. Hope you guys like it and let me know what you think!!

Your production values are excellent. I take it you have prior experience in video production?

I enjoyed the video. I thought it was very well done!

I'm not sure why more people on this forum don't give positive feedback (or any feedback for that matter) when members display their creative talents.

If you asked: "Can I wear split fins to shoot video?"; you would have 100 responses in 2 days.:coffee:

Thank you for posting it here, Vincy. It was an absolute pleasure to watch.

I enjoyed it. Well filmed and edited and I liked the music.

Not sure if I want to do the shark dives though, especially not kissing them.

Curious, why didn',t you testdive your new bcd at home?

Welcome to ScubaBoard.

Thanks for posting the video!

Threshers are my bucket list shark to see. I don’t have any interest in seeing GWS - a bloated Cookie Monster or garbage truck of the sea. But threshers, for me, represent agility, precision spatial awareness and sophisticated lethality.

Congrats on your trip.
