correct me if i am mistaken, but that is like 2-3 father and son teams, were the father has died in monterey area in the last 2-3 monthes, this is real sad, i am very sorry for the boy and the loss of his father, i hope he makes his father even more proud and continues to dive in his remembrance!!! so sorry for the family!!!!!
 
I'm a long time sailing buddy of Robert's. It's a very sad situation... thanks though for posting the actual story; I couldn't find it anywhere.

He was a very good man; he'll be sorely missed.

Kind Of Spooky To Picture This Going On In The Thick Kelp Beds.
Makes You Appreciate Every Moment.. Every Breath That We Are Priveleged To Take. Sincere Condolences To One And All.

I went back through my records. We've had four fatalities in Northern California, two
involved a father/son team.
