Anyone in the water at Breakwater yesterday or today?

Thinking about making a run there tomorrow to bring in the new year properly, but don't wanna make the trek if it's been bad in the last 48 hours.

Looks like the swell and weather aren't too bad for tomorrow, but mother ocean changes her mind at times.

Happy New Year, SB. May your air run long, visibility be good and smiles be endless.

Going tomorrow, weekend looks to be a blowout so gotta go.

I haven't, but a bunch of us are also hopeful about conditions and plan on a NYD dunk (see Monterey Bay Area Scuba Divers Open group on FB). It's OP, someone more knowledgable about conditions than I, says: "Looks like a rising tide from about 4pm on NYE until about noonish on NYD. Not only will that bring in clearer water it will also mitigate any bacterial counts from the rain."

I'd like to do the 5pm dive tonight, but climbing into cold soggy gear tomorrow for a couple of dives isn't super appealing!

Thanks for the excellent wish for 2025 - back at you, plus parades of magnificent creatures crossing your path :)

I was just there - two dives at an hour long each. Viz was 5-10 ft. Lots of haze. I did the night dive with the FB group.
