I can vouch for Joe diving like that...and I may never recover from the sight!! :( Next time, a suit is mandatory, Tegg!!!

Thanks a lot, Shirley!! When I read Joe's post I though he meant no wet suit. No I have a visual of him with nothing but 2 inch webbing and an AL80! AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I also first heard the term "monkey diving" from Faisal the same time we started playing "monkey bash" with scooters based on the game I guess he and Andrew created? We started playing monkey bash while freediving abandoning the use of any SCUBA. Lots of fun! Anyway, a handful of my students began to go monkey diving. They also heard about it from Faisal and Andrew online.

My post of "no suit" was in reference to no "wetsuit". I cannot help Shirley's inability to control herself when she thinks of me... :mooner:

Clipping off beats holding the cylinder...

With a little thread necrosis here, I have found that d-rings on a weight belt are the best way to monkey around once actually underwater for me.

I can drop off a back mounted set, and clip a 80 or 40 to my hip and go. No octo for that, of course but, it is super minimum gear streamlining. I could even clip an 80 to each hip and have an octo, but...
