I completely forgot Monday is a government holiday! I'm hoping to get a chance to take the doubles out for a dive or two at Gilboa. Anyone available to be a buddy for what could possibly be a hilarious training dive? :D
Ber :lilbunny:

Let me check, I might be able to do that!

I don't work for the government, but I kind of work for the government, and since none of the government folks will be at work Monday, neither will I. However, they get it as a holiday. I get it as a loss of 8 billable hours.

I saw on anothe thread that KT made it to the MnG, I haven't seen her post on the board lately.

Don't you have a bridge to build or something like that to do?? :D

We're starting on the bridge again tonight when I get home and it SHOULD be done Sunday. My husband has to work Monday and by the time he shovels roughly 10 tons of #2 stone (each piece approx the size of your fist) by hand over the weekend he's not going to want to do bridge work on Monday. He's still sore from Tuesday's stone moving/decking installation.

Ya know, I was at Gilboa last Friday and I counted 6 different divers all with doubles. Four of them even had bail out bottles. They were all diving on the shallow side. What gives with so many people diving doubles at Gilboa?.........

LOL! If my dive buddy who is training me had his way I'd be diving in a kiddie pool :rofl3:

Sounds like this is shaping up to be a party! Jchoby, I'll bring your cooler along in case you make it. Mitten gave it to me at the meet-n-greet.

So, should I bring anything in my cooler?????

At work, I got the standard AF 101 critical days of summer (even tho we're out of the 101 critical days . . . ) spiel. Don't do any of the 3 D's. I replied I'd better not tell you then. The Col asked is it dumb? No. Is it something else with a D (I forget what). No. Is it dangerous? Well . . . . .

I sooo want to play hookie. Fortunately I'll be doing just that soon enough! :D

How many dives will it take for Ber to knock the tanks down to under 500 psi??? :D

Man, this is shaping up to be a Post Fall M & G on a Monday. I just might be there, but no keilbasa---can't get to Toledo and back before Mon.

Ber, do you have any pics of this whole bridge stuff you are doing? :confused:Just wondering.. . . . I'm finding it hard to picture it all. . . thanks. Maggi

JC & I should hit the parking lot 'bout 08:30. We should probably plan a deep dive - once Ber's in the water with the doubles there won't be any viz left on the shallow side :rofl3:

Ok, Ok - those floppy ears bounced right across the quarry and not one bit of muck on the fins! Yours truly, on the other hand, tried to swim under the Gulfstream while the engines were at mil-power and was amazed at what those big fat props stirred-up...... That's my story and I'm stickin' with it! Better luck next time!
