Monday 14th Drinks Night in London

Right, the general consensus is more = better
so without further delay allow me to announce the Wreck Ferrets London meet in Victoria on the evening of Monday 14th of July 2003

it will be a bit of an informal arrangement, but from 6pm onwards sounds like a reasonable time, we can meet at first in the JD Weatherspoons inside victoria station (above WHSmiths) as this is easily locatable and we can move on from there if we choose

hope to see as many there as possible, myself and scuba texan will be there fresh from a trip to the aquarium!

Unfortunately I wont be able to make it - my Nan passed away on Friday night after having an unexpected major heart attacked, she survived the heart attack but the intensity caused a partial tear in a valve of her heart which leaked fluid onto her chest.

When she was being moved for a risky operation to a different hospital her blood pressure dropped dramatically and she died just after reaching the hospital.

As I'm sure you'll all understand, my head is a bit all over the place right now and I don't think I'd be much company but you'll have to all report back on what each other is like - I want all the gorry details!

Have fun and have a drink or two for me!

Thanks to those who showed up on monday, it was a good laugh even though it wasnt a big knees up, planning to try again in a few weeks for another social drink, hopefully more people will be up for it
let me know what dates are good for you guys
i fly out to the states on the 9th and have my nitrox/advanced nitrox the weekend before, so will be a tad busy in early august

Thanks to ScubaTexan and Clootie for livening up the evening, myself and scubatexan went for a tour around the aquarium before meeting clootie for drinks at victoria, we all had a good chat/laugh over some stories of evil buddies and stretchy wetsuits
i know i know, i didnt see the relation either

if enough show up on the 26th we can probably postpone the second drink fest till another time

eeek bad news
apparantly im at the SETT next saturday, and have a commitee meeting for our expedition next year on the sunday, so that just put a spanner in the works for me!!
