Say hello to the M-crater for me. I loved my backwall and enenue dives last month. I can do without the inside crater dives [yawn]. The first time I went was July 2004 and the grey reef sharks were out there off reefs end...about 150+ feet away. I quit counting when I got to 25. There were LOTS of 'em. That was the highlight that day!
My pic of the yellow hairy legged crab here if from the back wall. There were 2 slippers hanging out by him.

yay! agree! I like the backside mo bettah too! Whales galore ---very stark wall, I thought. Did you drift it?

We got a little drift on the back wall going clockwise. Then at Enenue we got a counter clockwise drift.

Catherine, we saw a nudibranch that we'd never seen before and sent it to Keoki Stender. He sent us back what he thought it was, he said he'd never seen one like that in Hawaii. I plan to email it to Ed Robinson and/or Mike Severns and see if either of those guys had seen it.

This dive we just did I was shooting video and out of the corner of my eye I saw a whitetip so I switched over to take some pics of him. Here's a link to my pics from the backwall, not all that good, some blurry. My camera is new, so I have yet to determine what to keep and toss.

I better get off tonight, I was supposed to finish my taxes and it's already 9:13p.
