Moisture wicking undergarment

Hello all,

I'm looking for a thin warm water undergarment that doesn't have much thermal properties but is great at moisture wicking. Planning 1 to 2 hour dry dives in 68-75 degree water. Thanks

My vote would be UnderArmor if you really don't want any significant warmth. Personally, I need warmth for an hour dive in 68-72 F water, as in the FL springs. Above 72 or so, I have used polarfleece (REI brand, but I'm sure there are others).

Like Lorenzoid, in 68-72F I prefer 200 gm Santi undergarments. For a wicking layer I feel you can't beat merino wool.
Maybe a fourth element xerotherm top or polarfleece on top of the baselayer if you don't want to go full undergarment.

Red Head and Cabelas brand are sometimes cheaper and just as good quality. I like the cheapest Red Head brown long johns as they are $50usd for top AND bottoms.

i'm heading down to the springs next weekend. my plan was to use my wool base layer and FE artics. I am prone to be cold. does this sound like the right mix or overkill? multiple dives over multiple days.

Arctic would not be out of place—you’ll get no odd looks. Bring the wool but don’t use it the first dive(s) and see if you get cold? I use UnderArmor—the kind that wicks but has no insulating ability—under my Santi BZ200.

hmmm interesting, never thought of using the capiline but can see it working well for this also!
