The Blacktip Travel DPV (BlackTip Travel) has a very attractive weight and size for air travel however it doesn’t trim flat (floating nose). Has anyone been able to attach weights to it to make it trim neutral? How much of a problem it actually is and is the trade-off with size justified when compared to the Blacktip Tech (BlackTip Tech) which is identical with the exception of the trim and longer body?

I haven't heard of anyone being able to trim the travel. Also no one has complained that it was difficult to use the way it is. The tech you can trim

I cannot trim my travel level....just not gonna happen if you want to maintain it neutral.

Not enough tube...it's a trade off. That being said..it runs horizontal on the trigger...don't worry about it.

Its possible to add foam, but the amount needed makes in prohibitive.
IIRC the tail was 5-6oz heavy.

Yeah there were a few different people attempting it without success, particularly if you weren’t going to spend the $$$$$ for noncompressible floats.
