mixing regs

equipment newbie here
is it possible to mix an Oceanic Alpha 7 PX2 first and second with an Aqualung LX octopus? I have the chance to purchase these for a song, but need to know if they're compatible.

Should be no problem at all.

You'll need to have a technician adjust the second stage to work with the first stage intermediate pressure, and that can be a problem if the LDS does nto handle both USD/Aqualung and Oceanic as many techs won't work on brands they don't sell.

Mechanically though it is not a problem.
