Authorities say the missing diver has been found deceased one day after disappearing in the Gulf of Mexico.

The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office issued an Aqua Alert Friday night for 32-year-old Nicholas Brown, who was last seen around 4:30 p.m. wearing a black wetsuit with yellow snorkel about a mile south of East Pass in Destin.

Multiple agencies searched the area overnight. On Saturday afternoon, the sheriff’s office said Brown’s body had been located.

Officials said they were sending sympathies and prayers to Brown’s family and friends. Further details about how he died were not immediately released.

Unfortunately, this article has even less information than the usual. Snorkler? Scuba? Solo? Group? with Shop? Independent? What happened to the news answering the Who, What, When, Where, Why, and How?

Definitely a lot of unanswered questions.
Thoughts and prayers for friends and family.
