Well, first day back from a long weekend of great and memorable diving in the St Lawrence River, and it’s tough getting my head back into work. I can’t say enough good things about Captains Wayne Greene (owner), Lawrence, and Scott at Thousand Island Pleasure Diving http://www.islanddiver.ca/. They did everything possible to insure that we all had an enjoyable and safe time. My cohorts, Harry and Jan and I dived the wrecks of the Vickery, Keystorm, and Kinghorn on Friday and Saturday, as well as a wild drift dive. If 40 to 60 feet of vis and water temps in the high fifties appeals to you then you owe yourself a trip to visit our friends north of the border. And oh, did I mention intact wrecks?:D Not to mention fresh water diving so you don’t even have to rinse your gear!;)

Be posting some pics and video clips on the ole website in a few days . . . but for now I gotta try and get back to work.

Later,

D

Isn't it great?

I was up that way about a month ago. Also got out on the Muscalonge, Gaskin, Daryaw, Lillie Parsons, America, and the Ash Island wreck. Amazing conditions and wrecks up there. They sure do have a strange fascination with garden gnomes though...:D

The Daryaw is a great wreck, too. Lots of different dives to be done there. My favorite was a dive where we penetrated through the majority of the thing, swam along the outside, then drifted off the wreck for a half hour and got picked up half a mile downstream or so.

Just wait until you check out the Jodrey :)

Already planning on it for next year.;) We will certainly be going for more than two days of diving next time!

It really is a hoot! I settled on the bottom at the stem of the Kinghorn only to come face to face with a Lawn Jockey. Thought I was narced!
