I read a very funny and very unpolitically correct description of Canadians a while back.

Snow Mexicans

🤣

Note: I’m half Canadian.
What does it mean to be part Canadian or American? I have a good idea of what being French, English, German, Chinese, Indian, and Korean means as it is tied to a specific culture, language, and shared history.

It is all a melting pot... I'm Hungarian, but the family name actually means "Italian Immigrant".

OT: Don't get me started on Greek last names. "Vlahos" (villager and often used as an insult, like hick). "Kefalas" (fat head). EDIT: I know people with these last names.

Note the section on physical/personal characteristics (LOL) in Most Common Greek Surnames, Origins & Meanings
