My memory is fine.I don,t make up stuff like some people.HDS #55 has a tribute to Jim.No mention of start up dates. In the book Diary of the Depths.By the late Robert Ellis Cahill Jim,s younger brother. On the Preface page.States in 1952 Jim became a professional scuba diver and began instructing many others in the science of scuba. So the joker who said they were in Los Alamitos in 1951 is wrong.I guess in can't compare to all the google internet experts out there. If it isn't on the net.It must be a lie or not real.I guess my collecting for over 20 years. One of the best collections in the country with thousands of dive books ,mags and catalogs doesn't mean a thing to the people who can only say just post a link.I will always call out the BS ers when I see them.To my fellow collectors and historians have a great day.
Since your space bar key is obviously not broken given the spaces between words, can you please at least conform to modern punctuation standards and put a space after a period? It would go along way in making your rants easier to read.
After reading through all the posts in this thread thus far, I can't, for the life of me, figure out what is so important about the veracity of the claims that you have called out Alec Pierce for and have come across so vehemently about against others. No one stands to gain anything by the truth or falsehood of what has been stated. What is the big deal about all this? Even if you are 100% correct, do you realize that you have painted yourself as an angry arsehole?
