It doesn,t matter what coast he's talking about.Bev Morgan never owned any New England Divers. They started on the east coast then went to the west coast in the 70,s.

Thanks Mike for watching my videos.
As I have said many, many times while making these videos for the enjoyment of the vintage community, I may well share information that is not totally correct.
Here's a fine example and I appreciate you taking the time to point out some glaring errors.
This episode was about a very unique 2 hose regulator and about the common but not-so-well-known practice of re-branding, a practice that continues even more today.
Errors made about the origins and the names of founders of an old scuba diving company are unfortunate and purely accidental but, they don't detract from the message - old scuba stuff is really interesting!!
Thanks for making the corrections Mike. Perhaps you could be more precise with dates and names in the future. Let's not compound my errors.
If you have more information to share, I'm sure we'd all be happy to hear it - perhaps in a less contentious manner.
And, it would great if you would also start making such videos to contribute to the vintage scuba community. The more the better.
It's a lot of work and costly in time and money (no ads!) so I'm pretty sure you'll probably decide to NOT try.
So, please continue to watch my videos and we welcome your input anytime.

When I first started diving, I didn’t have the option to dive locally and had many months of waiting in between dive opportunities. Your videos were the first thing I used to learn about diving, and they taught me so much. I know I’m much more knowledgeable and a better diver for it, so thanks for taking the time to make the videos and putting up with the jerks who come around.

You seem to have a penchant for windmills.

I'm pretty sure it is two different operations. The New England Divers in California has been around since 1951, three years before the east coast store.

Why would a dive shop In Ca. be called New England Divers?
I would think that the original was in NE and then opened a 2nd shop in CA.
Just sounds logical.

Correct. If you google n.e.divers long beach they say since 1951.They are mistaken or lying.Jim Started it in 1952 in Beverly.MA.You have some common sense.Others don,t seem to have any. After they sold in 1970.Stores in Ca,Wa,and Fl opened.

Because we’ve all just met Cousteua’s nephew. Clearly the smartest human in the universe and too lazy to post a link! Ending a sentence with LOL tells me all I need to know.
