I'm a Fish!
So how do I fix this? It’s not leaking when under pressure with a water test but I don’t want saltwater to get in and corrode it. I live in the UK so a mini SPG to HP hose adapter would cost a fortune to ship.

Worried about water getting in the threads? It's going to happen. No way around it. If it is made for diving it won't be a problem.
 
Seal the threads in the same way that a plumber would.
A couple of wraps of Teflon/PTFE tape.
