Miflex HP hose problem

Just an observation in passing - I got my new Mk17/S600 set up today - fitted with Miflex hoses throughout.
The new high pressure version of the Miflex hose is tiny - its like string in fact! I'm convinced I'm going to be sent home for not having a proper hi pressure hose from someone who hasnt seen one before..
Only problem now is that the moulded "sleeves" for 1st stage port connection and SPG have big openings where the fat old hose used to be...not sure what to do about that.
