Used them for ±400 dives so far
1) I have no hair either. My advice is to listen to what you are thinking. If it's not a problem, it's not a problem.

They are lighter and compact smaller- in these days of airline charges, that's why I bought them.
I even run a Miflex HP with a Cressi miniature SPG. I have a 5' (?) or so on my primary.
1) that braided hoses tend to catch hair (I wish to God I had that problem)
2) there was a connector issue where hoses were blowing up -- US based recall fixed that I think
3) someone posted that connection to cobra computer was a bit leaky due to short metal part of the hose -- I'm using mares...
