Come join the MetroWest Dive Club on Tuesday, January 24 to listen to a presentation by Bruce D. Bateman on the Wrecks of Sabel Island.

Since 1583 there have been over 350 recorded shipwrecks on Sable Island. Come, join the Metrowest Dive Club welcome Bruce D. Bateman as he tells us his tales of diving some of the many shipwrecks that surround this ever changing island of sand.

Sable Island is a place most of us will never get to. It's been protected by the Canadian Government to prevent the plunder of shipwrecks and the disturbance of the wild horses. But Bruce has been there. Come share his adventures.

Bruce D. Bateman has been a commercial diver, a co-founder of the Air Force Diving Team, a member of the US Air Force Bobsled Team, a Banner Tow Pilot, a Glider Tow Pilot and a Test Pilot of Experimental Aircraft. He's an avid New England and Lake Champlain wreck diver.
