Mermet trip????????

So, will we go to the Mermet anytime soon?

There's a pretty big pile of us folks from the Evansville Scuba Club headed there at the end of the month. Be there all weekend. Maybe get some night dives in saturday night as well.

Have u Booked a pavillion for your trip to mermet?? IF not let me know a name and how many ppl are coming and I will get one reserved for you. Also DUI will be on site the 6th and 7th of october for the demo days

I really want to hit Mermet, but it's a long haul for me compared to Haigh and Gilboa. That's why I haven't been yet. I could maybe be talked into a trip there in late Oct or Nov though.

I am also thinking about sometime on October. Mermet will be a good place after an air temperature goes down.

Good idea on the pavilion. I'll leave a note with the one organizing the trip. Looks like about 6-8 divers + families at this point going from the Evansville club. The name of the one oraganizing the trip is Jason Massey (goes by the screen name EVVScuba on the board here). They will be there Sept. 29- 30th. Unfortunately, I won't be with them due to having to work on my Dive Control Specialist course, but it sounds like it will be a blast.

If it is done late October or into November I would go. Jim, I would even be willing to car pool it and I would drive. That is if you can tolerate my bad jokes and talking.

ROAD TRIP!!! I think Chris, JP and Monica were talking about going sometime this year. But JP and Monica do have their Blackbeards cruise sometime in November if I am thinking right.

We might get some good motel deal if there is enough people...
