kennon road viewdeck. just before entering the city they have that viewdeck area on the left side of the road.

That is a spectacular picture, Gio. Jon, I second the picture of the man in the water. You caught the lighting on the ripples beautifully. Great shot.
Jon, I like it just the way it is. Perhaps you could have had a wider shot, but without seeing the rest of the background, who knows. The backlighting gives the strong contrast between the mans back, which is brightly lit and the heavily shadowed area. The same backlighting is probably what gives the ripples their nice reflection, though. Perhaps you could have framed the shot and taken it several times with different settings. The other thing might be a strong fill flash to illuminate only the man in the picture, but I don't know if that would be an improvement. I think the harsh lighting fits the subject, and I think it's a fine picture without any changes.
